  • If this is the only option available to you, then your membership has lapsed. PLEASE NOTE, paying for this non-member rate will NOT renew your membership automatically. This must now be done separately for accounting purposes. Please renew your membership FIRST. Then, upon returning to this event, the lower, member-only pricing of $60 will be available to you.

Unlike in previous years, paying the non-member rate will NOT renew your membership. We encourage you to initiate/renew your membership FIRST. Then, upon returning here you will be able to pay the lower member-only rate.

District 6 is sponsoring an in-person only, NREMT & SDEMSA ALS Refresher in Box Elder, SD. ALL levels, including EMT & First Responders, are welcome & encouraged to attend. The 20-hours offered will meet the full refresher requirements for the EMT level. For advanced levels, the 20 hours will count as ALS hours towards your recertification. The refresher will be held on:

  • Friday, February 14th (1900-2200)
  • Saturday, February 15th (0800-1800) - Lunch Provided
  • Sunday, February 16th (0800-1700) - Lunch on your own

It will be held at the Box Elder City Hall Event Center which is located at 420 Villa Drive, Box Elder, SD.

The cost is $60 for current SDEMSA members or $100 for non-members. Again, unlike in previous years, paying the non-member rate will NOT renew your membership. We encourage you to initiate/renew your membership FIRST. Then, upon returning here you will be able to pay the lower member-only rate.

Lunch will be provided on Saturday. Lunch will be on your own during a provided break on Sunday. Our hosts will allow outside drinks and snacks to be brought in. Please be respectful of the facility.

Class size is limited! Please register online to verify a seat. If unable or you would prefer not to pay online, select the invoice option. Cash or check will be accepted at the door.
*No hours will be credited until payment is received.

  • 6 hrs Cardiovascular
  • 1.5 hrs Trauma
  • 6 hrs Medical
  • 5 hrs Operations
