Training Announcement S.T.O.M.P. Special Tactics and Operations Medic Program

Vermillion Fire & EMS (SD) is excited to announce the partnership with Odin Medical in offering the STOMP class in Vermillion. The Special Tactics and Operations Medic Program is a 60 hour International Board of Specialty Certification (IBSC) accredited Tactical Paramedic – Certification review course.

During this course, you will receive comprehensive knowledge from experienced civilian TEMS, SWAT and military instructors using classroom instruction, didactic skills and scenarios. Upon completion students will receive a NAEMT TCCC provider card and 44 hours of both ALS and BLS continuing education hours. The STOMP class is also an accredited Oklahoma Council of Law Enforcement Education and Training course which provides 58 hours of LEO and 2 hours of LEO Mental Health CEUs.

Class size is limited to 20 students.

Prerequisites:  National Registry and/or state EMT certification or higher  MIL/LE credentials or Letter of Affiliation with an agency

Training date: May 20-25th, 2019

Primary Training Location: Vermillion Fire – Headquarters 820 N Dakota St, Vermillion, SD 57069
