This October 13th and 14th, the South Dakota Emergency Nurses Association, in collaboration with the Siouxland American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the South Dakota EMS Association, will be hosting a 1.5-day educational conference at the Sanford Research Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We would like to invite you to join us at this event! This interactive conference is going to be the second of its kind – we hosted a similar event in 2015 with resounding success. Therefore, by popular demand, our interactive emergency critical care conference will be coming back – complete with the very popular Teleflex procedural cadaver lab! We have a well rounded line up of speakers and topics, including farm and water trauma, OB, LVAD, overdose, flight and transport COVID-19 changes, organ transplant, and case studies - to name a few. We also have some amazing exhibitors lined up to meet you in the vendor hallway. Lunch (day 1) and snacks both days will be provided. *In order to participate in the Teleflex cadaver lab (held day 1), you must be a paid conference attendee. Once you have registered and paid for the conference, you will receive a separate email from Teleflex. This will be where you will register for the (optional) free cadaver lab. You will want to register now. Registration is open to members only until Monday, when general admission opens. You'll want to register now, since there are a limited amount of spots available for the cadaver labs. *If you are flight staff or APP, you will want to choose the latest session in the day, as there is a possibility of an advanced airway cadaver add on (pending Teleflex availability). The conference cost is $175. This activity has been submitted to the Alabama State Nurses Association for approval to award 11.5 contact hours. Alabama State Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. EMS credits have been submitted for approval as well. Registration link: https://www.sdena.org/fallconference.html Please feel free to contact me with any questions. We hope to see you there!
